Porsche has expanded its Cayenne range adding 7th version of the most iconic model – new Cayenne Turbo S, which is company’s most powerful SUV with an extra 50 horspower at its command. Compared to the Cayenne Turbo, beside this increase of 50 hp, the new Cayenne Turbo S also boasts 553 pound-feet of engine torque, so the sprint from zero to 60 mph now takes just 4.3 seconds (-0.1 seconds), and the Cayenne Turbo S accelerates to a top track speed of 175 mph (+ 3 mph).
Also there’s plenty of special equipment, that can’t be found on Cayenne Turbo, such as the air inlet screens, headlight housings and mirror parts painted in high-gloss black. It’s also fitted with 21-inch 911 Turbo II wheels as standard, with their inside surfaces painted in high-gloss black and coloured Porsche badges in the centre.
Buyers of the new Turbo S will enjoy in high-tech control system as standard including air suspension and active PASM damping control, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and the Sport Chrono package.
The interior of the Turbo S features an ultra-exclusive two-tone leather package which is available in combinations of black and luxor or black and carrera red. The rear and front seats boasts the Porsche Crest which has been embossed on the headrests, while its roof is covered in Alcantara.
The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S goes on sale in the U.S next year with a price tag of $146,975 (including a $975 destination charge) which makes it the most expensive Porsche SUV!
