Designed to beat the Bugatti Veyron, Pagani Huyara or Ferrari F12, Mosler has developed and produced, for now the only one example of its Mosler RaptorGTR, which can be yours for $700,000! The car was revealed last year in a weird music video.
Using the strongest and world’s most expensive materials in its construction, such as carbon-fiber, Mosler has designed supercar which combines the proven, crash-tested, ultralight, LeMans Prototype-style construction chassis with a truly exotic powerplant with visible twin turbos and several upgrades to the interior and exterior, and produces 838hp at an overall weight of 2580lbs; netting the highest power-to-weight ratio of any factory street car ever produced: 649hp/ton.
Under the hood of 2012 Mosler RaptorGTR is a turbocharged 7.0-liter V8 engine rated at mentioned whopping 838 horsepower, able to reach 0-62 mph (0-100 km) in a just 2.6 secunds, with the top speed of 240 mph (386 km/h).
So, one lucky person who has $700,000 to spare, will get to enjoy the machine that Ezra Dyer of Automobile Magazine described as: “It’s like a bomb went off behind the rear bumper and we’re surfing the shockwave.” The rest of us will have to just enjoy it in video games, where it’s rated by AutoClubRevolution with the highest VPR score of over 600.
