For the second time, Roberto Cavalli has collaborated with the French house of Coty to create a new fragrance, simply dubbed Just Cavalli, that will be launched globally from February 2013, in both domestic and travel retail markets. Named after the designer’s youth-oriented fashion line, Just Cavalli fragrance was composed by perfumes of the house of Firmenich – Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin.
Unlike the first fragrance, which was about glamour and sensuality, and was intended for a more mature age range, Just Cavalli is described as sexy, provocative, young, vibrant, sensual and fun, and is aimed to appeal to women ages 20 to 35. Just Cavalli has top notes of neroli, a sexy heart of Tahitian tiare flower and bottom notes of warm, cuddly and creamy rosewood accords.
The fragrance face is Georgia May Jagger, 20 year old model and the daughter of Mike Jagger and Jerry Hall. “It is the first fragrance that I have ever done, so it is a huge honour,” said Georgia May.
Cavalli said: “Georgia is the perfect choice to incarnate Just Cavalli. She is a playful temptress.”
The fragrance is available in pink glass bottle covered with gold-color metal, that sports the Just Cavalli logo in big letters. Cylindrical top is wrapped in a pink python-skin collar and the snake bite logo is visible on the top of the cap. It will be available as 30, 50 and 75ml EDT accompanied with 150 ml body lotion, with a price of $45, $60 and $75 respectively. The fragrance is expected to do upwards of $50 million at retail in just its first six months on the counter.
