La Reina del Mar, a 31.35m (102’10″ft) motor yacht, custom built in 1985 by Hakvoort Shipyard is now on sale for the first time. La Reina del Mar or Queen of the Sea is like her name says – synonym of luxury worthy royalty.
Fully refitted in 2008, this superyacht is able to accommodate comfortably up to eight guests in a master, VIP, a double and a twin, as well as 5 expert qualified crew to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The naval architect who actualised her plans and general arangement in respect of this ship was Pieter Beeldsnijder Design, who was also in charge for her interior design.
La Reina del Mar has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a beam of 7.50m (24’7″ft) and a 2.50m (8’2″ft) draft. Twin 329kw / 441hp Caterpillar DITA engines give her a range of 3,300 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots, and a top speed of 12 knots.
