William James Adams, best known by his stage name Will.i.am, is multi talented American musician, best known as one of the founding members of the hip hop/pop band, The Black Eyed Peas. This recipient of 7 Grammy, 8 American Music, and 3 World Music Awards, has launched a new camera accessory for the iPhone – i.am+ iPhone Camera Accessory! His aim was to take a great phone, and really good camera, and push it to “genius phone” levels.

Will.i.am took to London’s Selfridges department store to show off the foto.sosho range, with the press release claiming the device, which comes in several variants, to be “the world’s first digital camera accessory and app combination designed to turn an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S into a sophisticated point and shoot digital camera.”
“I am proud to finally launch the i.am+ foto.sosho app and camera to the world from London,” said will.i.am himself during the launch event at Selfridges. “Our product fuses fashion with technology, changing the way you look at a smart phone… the i.am+ foto.sosho camera will make your smart phone brilliant.”
A total of four contemporary and vintage models for iPhone 4 and 5 respectively called C.4 and V.4 and C.5 and V.5. will include standard, fish-eye, wide and zoom lenses, and a built-in flash, with photo editing, filters and sharing also built in.
The i.am+ C.4 unit “Modern Look” with white and gold finish will sell for £199 ($320), while the V.4 model with a“Vintage Look” and with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard will sell for £299 ($482), and both models will be available starting December 6.
Two other models C.5 and V.5 for the iPhone 5 that will come with a dedicated 14-megapixel sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens won’t launch until next year.
The accessory line will be available exclusively at the Selfridges department store in London.
