2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4×4 SuperCrew pickup, which President George W. Bush has used for driving around his Texas ranch goes under the hammer on January 19, 2013 at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction, with proceeds of the sale to benefit the Fisher House Foundation.
The truck with modest mileage, was ordered by Bush shortly after he left the White House, and it was used exclusively on his Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas. It features a 5.4-Liter V8 engine delivering 310 horsepower and a luxurious adobe King Ranch premium leather interior.
The ownership title is still on the name of President Bush, and will be directly transferred to the buyer, who will beside the truck get President Bush’s signature and a video of him autographing and driving the truck around his 1,583 acre ranch, that was called the “Western White House” during his administration.
Fisher House Foundation provides no-charge temporary housing for the families of military members being treated for injuries. Fisher House also has scholarship programs available to children and spouses of fallen or disabled veterans.
