Jack Belsito, the president of Snapple Beverage Group, has decided to leave his Upper West Side townhouse, and to sell it for just under $6.995 million by Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
Jack and his wife bought the four-story townhouse for $2.475 million back in 2002. The couple even invited The New York Times into their townhouse in 2003 for a profile on their new family home.
“I wanted two things: a steam room, which I got, and a fogless mirror for the shower for shaving, which I didn’t. I never sets foot in the piano room. My wife plays, and we’re trying to get my daughters to play, but I don’t. Plus there’s a hole in the ceiling from when we had a leak,” he told the Times. We hope he fixed it in a meantime.
The lavish house comes with its own backyard, and has four bedrooms and four baths in total. Originally built in 1890, this house has been completely renovated with a modern kitchen, luxury amenities such as a steam room, as well as a full basement with laundry room.
