SIHH 2013 in Geneva will introduce a new and quite different from others, the Fleurier’s Parmigiani Vitesse watch. The new ideas presented in the Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport is now transferred to the new Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Vitesse. 90° positioned dial makes it visible while driving without having to move your wrist. Some said that idea for a slewed 90 ° movement could never work. The same was said of Bugatti’s 1,200-horsepower car. In both cases, the products function to perfection and pushing the limits.
Proudly presenting the agreement between Bugatti and Parmigiani Fleurier, the new Vitesse watch is stand side by side with the powerful car. Vitesse uses Bugatti advanced technology, high-tech titanium finish, and the dial in Texalium, an advanced material in glass fiber and aluminum.
The Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Vitesse limited edition comes with titanium cases, measuring 36 mm x 50 mm x 22 mm, embellished with 6 AR-coated sapphire crystals. They come with 10 meters of water resistance alongside Dynamometric crowns finished in 18-carat white gold with Carnelian cabochon or Lapis-Lazuli cabochon. The caliber PF372 with 40 jewels powers the watches, working at 21,600 vibrations per hour and boasting with 10 days power reserves. The mechanism comprises a total of 333 parts and has been nicely trimmed with a Cotes de Geneva decoration.
There are two color variants, the first Texalium dial with white, blue cabochon on the crown, and a strap in blue alligator, while the second has an orange dial Texalium, and a red-orange cabochon and strap.
As the Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport, the Parmigiani Fleurier Vitesse also is an exclusive and luxurious watch, and isn’t for everyone. Customers who can pay two million euro for the car will have no problem with the price of the watch!
