You might be intrigued by the new products of French fashion house Chanel, the alpine skis. These skis that cost between $2,000 and $4,000 emphasize the retro design and a large Chanel logo on them. Skis are made from rosewood, aluminum and fiberglass which make these skis lightweight and sturdy.
If you are a professional skier these really aren’t the right skis for you, but if you want to be recognized at the ski resort as the cream of society, you don’t even need to know how to ski, just put the Chanel skis on your shoulder and it’ll be bingo.
This is not the first time that Chanel has ventured into creating sporting products. Earlier, we used to see Chanel leather skis, fashion bikes, Segway. All this market research and offering branded goods to customers by not-so-low prices are left to wonder whether this is really unnecessary. It would be best for Chanel to keep producing perfumes and cosmetics for women in which is good indeed and to leave other producers who know how to make these things.
