Produced in only 300 pieces the Sennheiser Orpheus headphones are hand assembled, constructed with gold plated contacts and with an eye-catching 90-tube amplifier which powers the headphones, finishing with chrome and stylish construction.
The design and size of the earpieces covered with a retro metal mesh is well suited for wear, and the leather cover gives way to cloth where they rest on the ear.
They have maximum output of 118dB, with excellent mid and high tones of the audio, but lacks of a strong bass.
Available in a limited edition these headphones are estimated for about $30,000 – $40,000, so only audiophiles with deep pockets will have it. Of course for average Joe these headphones will remain just a dream.
