Why should women been deprived of that pleasure to wear Breitling Transocean Chronograph watch on their wrist. Now, Swiss luxury watch brand, has released the Transocean Chronograph 38, a smaller (38mm) cousin to the 43mm Transocean. Although it’s dedicated to women, this stunning watch can be for everyone who wants Breitling with a little more elegance.
Breitling Transocean offers a resolutely contemporary stylistic interpretation of the aesthetic of 1950s and 1960s chronographs. The design of this 38 mm-diameter ladie’s chronograph is extremely similar to that of the 43-mm men’s version. The biggest difference is that the 38 is a two-register chronograph with running seconds at 3 o’clock and a 30 minute counter for the chronograph at 9 o’clock, while the 43 – men’s version is three-register, adding an hours counter at 6 o’clock.
The case with its pure lines, accentuated by a beveled bezel and slender lugs, comes in a choice of steel or 18K red gold. Dials are adorned with applied hour-markers and hollowed counters featuring a spiral motif, and are available in deep black, glowing silver or midnight blue. The red gold version comes on a brown crocodile strap and the steel version includes an accompanying stainless steel mesh bracelet. Barenia leather straps are also available in a variety of vivid hues.
A paragon of elegance, the Breitling Transocean Chronograph 38 also boasts outstanding performances thanks to a selfwinding chronograph movement chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), the highest benchmark in terms of precision and reliability. The new Transocean Chronograph 38, sells for $18,16 0for 18K red gold or $6,350 for stainless steel version.
