After finishing Far East Tour for VIPs, Feadship‘s Helix Superyacht is returning to the Mediterranean in preparation for the 2013 season, and for sale. Maintained in as-new condition, the custom yacht’s price has been reduced to $39.6 million.
The Helix has become the first large foreign registered yacht to be allowed to cruise the Pearl River in China. The stunning yacht was the first brand-new Feadship to visit China where she has starred at the Hainan Rendezvous and the Nansha International Boat Show. Moreover Helix also became the first ‘Western’ superyacht builder to receive orders from Mainland China. Except China, VIPs had a chance to sail the waters of Indonesia and Thailand, as well as parts of Singapore.
Designed by De Voogt Naval Architects and Sinot Yacht Design, the 45-metre Helix is an exceptionally sophisticated superyacht in terms of her layout, finish and technologies. She is luxury superyacht with the Nautical interior theme, which features a modern mix of light fabric covered walls in mahogany wooden frames and a high contrast of carefully selected materials. Helix boasts everything one would expect from a multi-million dollar ship, like mirrored walls, marble accents, and a spacious deck outfitted with a hot tub. She has even won the ‘Displacement Motor Yacht below 500 GT’ award at the World Superyacht Awards.
Helix offers a unique lay-out concept for a 45m yacht, where the guest cabins and the master cabin are all located on the main deck. This provides beautiful views from every cabin. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in five cabins and in two convertible private offices.
Helix contains a veritable treasure trove of watersport toys in all shapes and sizes, ensuring that there is never a dull moment onboard your beach-house on the water. Launch the tender, fold out the platform and a lovely secluded private beach is created. This extends the yacht’s length by almost four metres and serves as an ideal place for swimming, diving, snorkelling or playing with the waverunners, wakeboards and sailboats.
