Simply dubbed “Silver by Aston Martin” designed by Grant Macdonald, London’s finest silversmiths and expert gold, this luxury collection was presented at the Maison & Objet Paris trade show. The inspiration for the collection has been derived from the elegance, craftsmanship and engineering excellence that has been built into every Aston Martin car since 1913.
Silver by Aston Martin is divided into five categories – Eating and Drinking, Travel and Picnic, Gifts and Accessories, Models and Replicas – and features a variety of stunning silverware for the home including luxury picnic hampers, champagne flutes, decanters, candlesticks, china, centrepiece bowls, all bearing some of the hallmark design styles of Aston Martin.
Some of the standout pieces from the collection include sterling silver and 24 carat gold paper knife ($1,576) or the Aston Martin Picnic Hamper ($4,356), made from 100 percent Scottish lambswool, Quantum Dining collection, a twelve piece set plated in sterling silver and black ruthenium ($14,890) and Quantum China ($227 per plate), the ONE-77 Car Model ($80,000) offered by the line is a “stunning model of the machine in sterling silver” mounted on a beautiful plane of Rosewood.
