The luxury champagne is elegant aromatic available as Brut Blanc, a cuvée made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, tactful fruity experienced connoisseur of the expressive Brut Rose, made from 100% Pinot Noir.
The bottle of Champagne De Watere comes in a special case that is handmade in Bavaria, Germany from solid wood, and is hand finished, inside and out, in satin gold, and the case is then wrapped in gold foil which is further secured by a gold hand-woven braid sealed with the De Watère seal.
The history of the family was the inspiration for the de Watere exceptional champagne. The legend states, that the family ‘De Watere’ stems from a Norman called ʻGuillaume de Watereʼ. Since then, when he was recorded in the Doomsday Book in the 11th century, the family has grown apart and identification with the common ancestor Guillaume has been fading. So, De Watere Champagne was created to remember Guillaume, as well as to celebrate the solidarity within the family.
On 5 hectares, only 22,500 bottles of De Watere are being produced every year; 11,250 of each the Rose and the Blanc. Solely 20,000 of them (evenly divided between Rose and Blanc) are available to the market. The remaining 2,500 bottles are being held by and for the family De Watere.
