Bentley has unveiled the upgraded version of its Mulsanne model wich will have official premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The changes are not very noticeable at first glance, but when you take a peek inside you will see significant changes.
The most interesting feature of Specification Comfort package adds comfortable support of head, arm, and the seat. In offer will be found and Entertainment Specification equipment package that adds picnic tables, iPad and wireless keyboard which are built into the driver and passenger seats, and a dual 8-inch LCD headrest, including TV and DVD player. In addition to these, the “entertainment” package will have more options such as remote control and Bluetooth headset.
Further improvements of the interior of this model in 2014 year include curtains for greater privacy, the section under the armrest and a new set of luggage that is made by Italian company Schedoni, which consists of two large and two small suitcases and two fold-out bags.
Kevin Rose, a member of the Board of Directors of the company, believes that the Mulsanne is different from other cars of the same rank in the market by using the latest technology, so he offers nothing less than a luxury that simply has no competition, with excellent performance.
The Mulsanne continues in 2014 with the 6.75-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 making 505 hp and 752 lb-ft of torque. A ZF eight-speed transmission sends power to the rear wheels. The luxury tank weighs in at a hefty 7,055 pounds, which contributes to an EPA rating of 11 mpg in the city and 18 on the highway. Although we’re pretty sure if you’re in the market for a Bentley Mulsanne, filling it up won’t be a problem.
Pricing will be announced closer to the Geneva motor show, but we can expect it will be a slight bump from the 2013 Mulsanne’s price of $296,000.
