At the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin will show the special edition V8 Vantage S, which is inspired by the GT4 racing car. It’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 and will be available in coupe and roadster versions and will cost from $135,000.
Once, not so long ago, sports cars and manual transmissions were one. Nowadays, everything is harder and harder to find high-performance car with a manual transmission because a large number of manufacturers now offer automated manual gearbox with dual clutch. However, such was the case until now, because the British manufacturer has announced that the new special edition V8 Vantage S models named SP10 comes with manual transmission with 6 gears, while the automatic is optional.
SP10 is available in coupe and convertible and will be sold only in Central Europe, which means that the domestic market will not be able to enjoy the 436 HP. For drive will be used 4.7 liter V8 engine with 321 kW/430KS and 490 Nm of torque, paired with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. Offered with this manual transmission, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage SP10 will accelerate from 0 to 60mph for 4.5 seconds and can reach a maximum of 190mph.
Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe and Roadster SP10 will get Ceramic Grey metallic color (roadster roof Titanium Grey color), 19-inch alloy wheels, black brake clamp, front spoiler and rear diffuser made of carbon fiber, and optional 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system.
Black is the dominant color in the cabin, which is upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara with contrasting gray stitching, while the center console in glossy piano black.
