Now, it’s possible, since famous French designer Christian Louboutin has launched its new bespoke embroidery service, which allows you to create your own and unique pair of distinctive shoes. The service was launched this week at West Hollywood’s newly opened Christian Louboutin’s Men’s boutique.
Christian Louboutin Launches Tattoo-Inspired Footwear Service
“Tattoos to Measure” service gives you the possibility to choose the style, fabrication, color, and one of three embroidery techniques for the tattoo pattern (Outline and Shine; Color; and Color and Relief). Images of the tattoo and the custom elements are then sent to Louboutin’s studio in Paris, where the tattoo gets designed to custom-fit the shoes before they are sent to be crafted in Italy and India. This process takes about three months. A service is exclusively made available in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and London, with varying price points.
The innovative house of Louboutin is also introducing a new men’s style, the “Nigel,” exclusively for the “Tattoos to Measure” service. Don’t worry ladies, the service will also be available in four women’s styles: the Rollergirl flat, Louis sneaker, Belle Ankle boot, or Highness pump.
