Grand opening of the 23 luxury penthouses on the private, top floor wing of the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe resort which will be available for sale, was held on February 17th. International real estate investment and services company Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW) unveiled three custom show homes designed by Jeffers Design Group, one of the country’s top designers by ELLE Décor Magazine in 2011 and 2012.
“Since the soft launch of the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Lake Tahoe, we have seen tremendous interest in the property,” said Stuart Cramer, president of Kennedy Wilson. “Over 300 prospective buyers toured the residences at the grand opening event on Feb. 17. Initial sales have been strong, and we are confident that this momentum will continue for the remaining penthouse homes among our clientele of young families.”
Located on the 3rd & 6th levels, each penthouse features dramatic views of the vibrant Sierra Crest, Martis Valley and Carson Range, expansive great room with 20-foot ceilings, catering kitchen, private home theater room, large wine storage cellar, luxurious master bedroom suite with two-sided fireplace, spacious guest suit and summer terrace overlooking the hotel grounds.
The residences include two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plan options ranging from 1,554 to 3,407 square feet. Homes are selling from $1.25 million to $4.25 million.
Owners of the penthouses will enjoy pre-arrival concierge service, valet parking, a Residence Concierge, Ski Valet services, a private entry corridor and an elevator that delivers owners to their penthouses. The 400,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe cost $300 million to build and officially opened Dec. 9, 2009. Kennedy Wilson and its partners bought the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe and the luxury properties from lenders in December 2012.
