Hublot has announced two new versions of its Big Bang Caviar for this year’s BaselWorld exhibition. Both timepieces are more precious, more sparkling and more feminine than ever, one in red gold and one in steel, each featuring a bezel set with 36 diamonds.
This two new iterations of the legendary model feature the same design codes of the famous One Million $ Black Caviar and both draw inspiration from the black ceramic Big Bang Black Caviar, a bestselling novelty since 2011.
New steel and 5N red gold Big Bang Caviar feature a 41mm case that sports a sleek, graphic look with sharp angles and reliefs designed, cut, bevelled and polished like their big sister’s black baguette diamonds. They are fitted with the HUB1112 self-winding mechanical movement, which also animates a date indicator positioned at 3 o’clock. The movement is built on 62 components and 21 jewels, it beats at 28,600 vibrations per hour and provides about 42 hours of power reserve.
The watches are water resistant to 100 meters and mounted on a silver or 5N gold colored calfskin strap sewn onto black rubber.
