Monaco – synonym for luxury and extravagance. So, there is no better place for world’s most expensive penthouse to be built. When it comes to market next year, the luxury penthouse, part of the 170m Odeon Tower, will be the most expensive per square meter.
The £256 million ($388 million) penthouse spreads over a generous 5-floor space (3,300 sq metre) in the French Principality in the 49-storey Odeon Tower which will be the Mediterranean coastline’s second tallest building. It comes complete with private water slide and exclusive infinity pool.
The twin towers will contain 70 luxury apartments with between one and six bedrooms. Also available will be two sky duplexes and a 1,200sq m penthouse. Each apartment will boast floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces with panoramic views of Monaco, Larvotto beach and the Ligurian Sea.
The block will have Russian and Turkish saunas, several swimming pools, private spas, a full-time concierge, private chauffeured limousines and a cinema. Housekeeping, dry cleaning and valet services will all be organised by residents from touchscreen controls in each apartment.
Prominent names are involved in completion of this project; architect Alexander Giraldi is spearheading the venture, the Alberto Pinto agency is handling the interiors and the grounds are being done up by landscape architect Jean Mus.
The construction on this building started back in 2009 and is expected to be complete by July 2014.
