From now on you can live like a king because the Swedish Royal Castle is set for sale. Bryngenäs Palace is beautifully set on a peninsula jutting out into the eastern part of Lake Mjörn. Even 3,800 years ago, this was considered an attractive location.

The Bryngenäs Palace

A long driveway leads up to the castle, through a large park with lawns and rhododendron bushes, as well as a sculpture and fountain, and a sandstone baptismal font dating back to the 15th century. These beautiful surroundings, together with the healthful water and clean air of this location, which once made Bryngenäs, like Solliden, a candidate for the site of the royal summer residence.
The palace who was originally built in 1780, and subsequently reconstructed in 1868 boasts an oak frame with yellow plaster coating, as well as a new roof with shingles and copper platingand 15 rooms and three halls,the green study with ceiling decor and a magnificent fireplace serves as the natural focus of the palace. The study, salon and dining room lie in a row along the side of the palace that faces the lake. All the rooms are with classic parquet flooring. At the cellar under part of the palace is wine cellar.
