The first Royal Black Caviar will be displayed April 25 at Baselworld. YORK has partnered with renowned German Silversmith and Yacht builder Robbe & Berking to create a most unique arrangement for this very special watch. The Black Caviar boasts 18-carat white golden case with a bezel that hosts 53 black diamonds in total 3,2 carat and 5 black diamond’s on the crown. The watch consists of a black enamel on sterling silver with indices and sapphire crystal double-sided.
The strap is made of finest indo-pacific stingray leather with its typical black perl structure that reminds of caviar eggs. The mechanical manual winding movement SW 07 is sophisticatedly skeletonised and finished with 17 jewels and engraved by hand. Royal Black Caviar will be crafted and numbered for only 99 exceptional buyers worldwide and will cost $59,500.
This time piece is delivered in its elegant handcrafted Wengé case which includes an exclusive silver caviar service for two, both designed for the Royal Black Caviar by Robbe & Berking. Each watch will be passed to its owner by His Highness York Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe. Their name and watch series number will be engraved on a solid 925 silver plate installed on the case and served with a fresh box of “Royal Black Caviar” from Caviar House & Prunier.
