Bonham’s will offer on its Quail Lodge auction in August this year a rare and unique 1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Coupe Vignale. According to previous Ferrari ‘s sales at Bonham’s auction this masterpieces could reach very high price.
1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Coupe Vignale is known by its coach work created by the noted Giovanni Michelotti for Vignale, as an unique offering from the house of Ferrari.
This car was brought into Northern America noted importer, Luigi Chinetti, who was impressed by it’s architecture and external beauty, and showed it at 1954 New York Auto Show held at the Madison Square Garden.
The car took many prices and foremost would be the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Ferrari Club of America National Concours shows, where the ‘Best of show’ and the First place in the shows were won by this 1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Coupe Vignale.
This coach built car recently underwent a painstaking restoration, and remains correct in every detail, down to its tobacco and burnt sienna livery.
