For its 150 anniversary Perrier, French brand of bottled mineral water made from a spring in Vergèze in the Gard département, is paying tribute to Andy Warhol with a series of limited edition bottles.
Andy Warhol’s creativity and eccentricity are a great fit with Perrier’s brand personality. In the 1980, Andy Warhol created a series of vibrant colored screen prints of Perrier bottles, as an exploration of consumers’ interaction with everyday products.
Nowadays the Perrier returning the favor to the Andy Warhol Foundation to produce a series of limited edition bottles inspired by Warhol. Available from June 24, the bright and bold color palette will be replicated on specially-designed bottles, with four different label designs and seven different Warhol inspirations including some of his famous quotes.
Perrier will also offered the chance to win an original Andy Warhol work of art as part of a sweepstakes. From June 24-September 30, consumers can enter to win ‘Space Fruit: Lemons,’ an original screenprint created by Warhol in 1978.
