Regular melons with the face of Hello Kitty, the well-known Japanese cat just hit the market. Why not when there are a lot of interested consumers! Japanese food company in Furano, Hokkaido, has grown this sweet fruit with the image of children’s favourite icon Hello Kitty engraved on the fruit surface.
However only a select few who are quick…. will be able to enjoy the flavor of Hello Kitty melons in their mouth, since they’re extremely limited in nature as only 300 of these will be made available.
This cutest Hello Kitty melons will be on sale online by gourmet food specialty shop, Belluna until July 31st or until stocks last for 4,980 yen (or about $50) each. And, don’t forget, shipping is free, so that’s something, right?
