Saudi Prince Fahd al-Saud has spent $20.41 million on a three-day party at Disneyland, Paris. Prince who is a regular guest at Disneyland Paris celebreting his recently graduation. He book the whole Disneyland from 22 to 24 May and invited 60 guests to his party.
During these three days, several parties were prepared, and the entire area was under the regime of special measures for the safety of the prince.
The party included a special themed events with “rarely seen Disney characters,” which means that the park management made sure that all the way out to meet the prince. ‘‘Rare’’ characters making special guest appearances included Roger and Jessica Rabbit, the Aristocats and the cast of Up and Atlantis, the Lost Empire.
The Paris event was the finale of a world tour paid for by the prince and called Disney Dreamers Everywhere. It started in Hong Kong Disneyland and moved on to theme parks in Tokyo, California, Florida and then France.
‘‘This is the first time there has been such a grandiose, private world tour,’’ said Julien Guedon, the editor of Disney Gazette, whose correspondent was on the Paris guest list. ‘‘The prince had fun. He was there all along, but we are not allowed to speak about him, that was the order,’’ he said.
Although just last year attracted 16 million guests, Euro Disney since opening 20 years ago, failing to make a profit. From October 2012 to March this year, the park has made a loss of $117 million.
