Whether British capital will get a new £200 million ($327 million) super mansion, second in size only to Buckingham Palace. According to Marcus Cooper’s plans seven adjacent houses near Regent’s Park in London will be transformed into luxury 4645 square metres complex.
Future residence will have 35 bathrooms, 15 bedrooms including a sumptuous master suite complete with an enormous dressing room and spacious ‘his and hers’ bathrooms. It will also feature a grand spiral staircase, a library, a smoking room, children’s rooms, a banqueting room and a 40ft long private roof garden that is completely hidden from the streets below. Of course unavoidable amenities will be a swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool bar and cinema.
The property developer and tycoon expected take nearly three years to complete his project at 6-10 Cambridge Terrace and 1-2 Chester Gate. The two properties, designed by 19th century architect John Nash, are believed to be worth more than £130 million ($203 million).
If it is sold for £200 million, that is 1,229 times more expensive than the UK average house price of £162,606 ($254,000).
In April, Cooper sold three terraces nearby for £120 million ($187 million) to the Qatari royal family. [Daily Mail]
