After a coupe, the Aston Martin Vanquish model is now presented in the convertible version called Vanquish Volante. Except, of course, the soft folding roof (which is normally down at 14 seconds), Volante is externally the same as Vanquish Coupe, and this goes for the interior.
For drive takes care the famous 6.0-liter V12 engine with 421 kW/573Hp at 6750 r / min. and 620 Nm of torque at 5500 r / min., whose power through a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transfered to the rear wheels. Acceleration from 0 to 60mph takes 4.1 seconds, while top speed is 183 mph. Also, Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is the first model with body of carbon fiber and weight of the car is just 1844 kg.
The package boasts Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Positive Torque Control (PTC), and Aston Martin’s Adaptive Damping System (ADS) with three modes (Normal, Sport and Track), while for the stop caring Brembo brakes (discs 398 mm x 36 mm front and 360 mm x 32 mm rear).
Aston Martin Vantage Volante in the British market costs £199,995 in Germany costs €264,995, while in the U.S. costs $297,995. Deliveries to the first customers in Europe will begin later this year.
