In addition to the Aston Martin DB5 model, which is full of all sorts of gadgets, undoubtedly the most famous movie car of all time, which was used in five James Bond films, the second Bond car taking the title of the most impressive “Transformers”. Of course, this is a car / vehicle submarine Lotus Esprit S1, used in the, “The Spy Who Loved Me.”
The third James Bond film in which the main role was played by Roger Moore probably is one of the five most popular film of the popular franchise and it is largely thanks to the many underwater scenes in which is main star Lotus.
Esprit S1, or “Wet Nelly,” a model developed by, Perry Oceanographic in Florida and driven in the film by retired US Navy SEAL Don Griffin, is offered on sale on RM Auction between 8-9 September. It is expected to reach high price since DB5 used by Sean Connery in Goldfinger and Thunderball sold for a whopping $4.1 million a few years back.
