With its new model of A.Lange & Sohne Saxonia Annual Calendar Platinum, the German manufacturer has once again presented a perfect balance between classic elegance, luxury and superior craftsmanship. The new model comes in a polished case made of platinum, with features such as the annual calendar and moon phase indicator, all presented in an elegant and perfectly legible dial.
The case, as stated above, is made of platinum and dimensions are suitable for a luxury stylish watch, the diameter of 38.5 mm and a height of 9.8 mm. On the dial are located three dial. In position “3h” are shown the months of the year, the position “9h” display days of the week, while the position “6h” is the moon phase. Position “12h” is reserved for the big date display.
The mechanism requires only one adjustment dates a year, and the moon phase indicator adjusts once every 122 years. The mechanism is of course in-house automatic Calibre L085.1 SAX-0-MAT. The mechanism was designed and decorated by hand, the plate is 3/4 typically for the Germans, while the micro-rotor is made of 21k gold. It is composed of 476 parts, has 43 jewels, works at 21.600 Bph and has a power reserve of 46 hours.
