Nasser Al-Thani from Qatar could be left without his precious supercar. His Aventador confiscated by the police in London because the car was not insured. London past years during the summer months has become the meeting place of the rich supercar owners from the Middle East. This has created a headache for some residents of British capital that began to complain of unbearable noise produced by powerful engines of these vehicles.
It seems that they are not the only ones who are bothered by the summer onslaught of supercars. Members of the London Police recently in the town stopped a Lamborghini Aventador with very unusual look. Although the choice of the color of the car and the line along the body, which are said to be able to glow in the dark, were unusual, it was not the reason why this Lamborghini attracted police attention.
The vehicle was stopped for a routine check, since it did not have a license plate. And that’s where things start to get complicated. With inspection of the documents, the officers discovered that the owner has uninsured car and, following the letter of the law, the Aventador on the spot has seized and impounded.
However, a headache for the owner, and the police only now beginning, because it is possible that the uninsured Lamborghini, as required under the regulations, is going to be destroyed, as is the case with other “ordinary” confiscated cars that are driven without insurance. The authorities would be found in a sticky situation to choose between two bad choices. Will save the car, and thus made a precedent, or do the unthinkable, to allow to destroy a car such as the Lamborghini Aventador.
