When a manufacturer like Jaguar, has a rich history of success in motorsports, it’s natural to want to remind the public of its tradition. That is why they created the concept Project 7. The number 7 in the title of this unique car symbolizes victories by the Jaguar manufacturer achieved at Le Mans in the period from 1951 to 1990. Project 7 is designed for only four months, and as the basis has served Jaguar’s latest commercial advantage, the model F-Type.

In order to design the car had adequate support, the 5.0 liter V8 engine from the Jaguar F-Type was upgraded to 405 kW / 550 hp, while peak torque is 680 Nm. The engine is mated to a eight-shift Quickshift automatic gearbox. Jaguar Project 7 speeds to 60mph in 4.2 s, and the maximum speed is limited to 180mph.
