Luxury two-seater Saker S-1 jet has maximum speed of Mach 0.99. The inspiration for the design came from the military fighter aircraft, which require the short runway for take-off (up to 500m) and are very rotating in the air. Maximum range is 1,600 miles, and it is possible to add two tanks more with 100 gal, when autonomy is increased to 2,200 miles. Normal cruising speed is Mach 0.95, which is a few miles faster than the previous fastest civil aircraft and is expected to become available during the 2019.
