Carmel motorcar auction on August 16 is place where the Bonhams auction house will offer some of the most impressive Italian sports cars. The Highlight of the auction will be the exquisite 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II with coachwork by Pinin Farina. Matching numbers car has been documented from new by historian Marcel Massini and come complete with the extremely rare factory delivered hard top. Other good offer from Bonhams is the former Brussels Motor Show 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS Cabriolet with coachwork also by Pinin Farina.
Notable Ferrari’s on offer will include two superb examples of the heralded 330 GTC, a platinum-winning 365 GTB/4 Daytona, and a wonderful Dino 246 GTS. Another model that stand out among others is one of 240 made, 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America with coachwork by Pinin Farina. Other cars on the auction are Lancia Stratos Stradale, Lancia Aurelia B24S Cabriolet, a 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 “Periscopica” and other cars from Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, FIAT, Lancia and Maserati.
