Woodford Reserve has announced the long-anticipated release of its newest membesr to the Master’s Collection series. A pair of the first fully matured whiskies Straight Malt Whiskey and Classic Malt, crafted from malt in Kentucky since Prohibition make The Double Malt Selections. A Straight Malt whiskey was matured in new barrels, while a Classic Malt whiskey aged in used barrels. Both are uniquely triple distilled in Woodford Reserve’s copper pot stills. They comes as two separate 750ml bottles which are individually numbered and presented at 90.4 proof.
The Double Malt Selections mark the eighth release in Woodford Reserve’s Master’s Collection, following the launch of the brand’s Four Grain, Sonoma-Cutrer Finish, Sweet Mash, Seasoned Oak, Maple Wood Finish, Rare Rye and Four Wood offerings. And, not to forget the world’s most exclusive and most expensive Mint Julep for $1,000.
Available in major metro markets throughout the US and select international locations, limited quantities are available at a suggested retail price of $99.99 a bottle.
