After being announced back in May, official images and details of the new generation, (991 series) and already legendary 911 Turbo Coupe (as well as its more powerful Turbo S version), Porsche has now released to the public official photos of the model 911 Turbo Cabrio and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. Like the 911 Turbo Coupe, the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet is powered by 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with direct injection that develops 383 kW/520Hp and 660 Nm (710 Nm with overboost), and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and all four wheels drive.
Acceleration from 0 to 60mph takes 3.5 seconds. On the other hand, the 911 Turbo S Cabrio has 560Hp and 700 Nm (750 Nm overboost), and to 60mph arrives in 3.2 seconds. Average fuel consumption of both versions of the factory data is 9.9 l/60mph. The roof opens / closes in about 13 seconds, and at speeds up to 30mph.
The new 911 Turbo is long 4490 mm, width 1878 mm and wheelbase is 2450 mm. The new 911 Turbo Cabrio / 911 Turbo S Convertible will have its premiere on 20 November at the Motor Show in Los Angeles, and will officially go on sale in December. The price for 911 Turbo Cabrio is $160,700 and $193,900 for 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.
