The main objective was to cell phones out of the group of technological devices and switch to, say, the category of Swiss watches, one that has a history. That was the main reason why it came to the production of Vertu models.
The latest collection of mobile phones called Vertu Constellation is the pride of the British company. This hand-crafted model is visibly different than the old Vertu design, which is a part of the transformation strategy put in place by the luxury phone manufacturer. Each Constellation handset is handcrafted by a single craftsman at Vertu HQ in Church Crookham, Hampshire. The phone has the largest piece of sapphire glass, chassis made of grade 5 titanium and it is wrapped in calf leather. The comes in five different colors, black, beige, brown, orange and pink.
It has a 4.3″ 720p screen with a pixel density of 342ppi. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 S4 Pro dual-core Krait CPU at 1.7GHz and Adreno 320 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 13 MP camera on the back and a 1.3MP shooter on the front. Vertu Constellation cost $6,600, and the company is proud that it will soon be even more advanced and sophisticated models, along with good looks and a more modern options.
