For more than 20 years of work, Franck Muller isn’t only a Swiss watchmaker brand best know by its slogan “Master of Complications”, but also by the creation of its own flagship event – World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie (WPHH), which is the highest watch exhibition in the world. This year, for the first time, Franck Muller held the 22nd edition of the WPHH in the city of Honk Kong. This presentation has been held from September 24 to 27, in one of the most famous skyscrapers of Hong Kong – Central Plaza, on its 75th floor.
For four straight days, watch aficionados and journalist have an opportunity to discover the Franck Muller’s world of watchmaking skills and craftsmanship. The new pieces include the Giga Gong Tourbillon, and an array of other creations such as the Skeleton Collection and the exquisite and alluring Infinity Sunrise.
The Giga Gong Tourbillon collection: Created in 2011, the Giga Tourbillon bears the world’s largest tourbillon. This new in-house designed and manufactured manual watch is enhanced with an exciting complication – the Striking Hour. This poetic complication will brighten up your day with its rhythmic chime.
The Skeleton Collection: After months of dedicated work, Franck Muller has adapted the caliber 1700 into a skeleton form. This caliber 1740 combines sound aesthetics and immaculate precision. The skeleton model reveals a highly technical mechanism and perfect styling.
The Infinity Sunrise collection: Effortlessly feminine, the bold design of the Infinity Sunrise articulates Franck Muller’s vision of femininity, seduction and elegance.
The week was topped by an extravagant Gala night held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on the theme of a magical cabaret. Celebrities such as Cheung Chi Lam, the new ambassador of the brand in Asia, as well as Mr Byung Hun Lee and Michelle Reis were attending.
