Macallan M Scotch Whiskey – an extremely rare, limited edition was unveiled at the end of May in Hong Kong. Now, these special Macallan’s decanters was recently launched in the United States. At the official launch, held at Soho Beach House in Miami Beach, guests were invited to sample various versions of the distillery’s famous whiskies, including the 10-year, 12-year, 15-year, and 18-year before moving on to the finale.
The gorgeous bottle is result of collaboration between designer Fabien Baron, Lalique crystal, and Macallan, with Baron designing the crystal decanter the rare whisky rests in. Only 1,750 decanters are to be released this year. Each bottle is numbered with a specialty designed case, with a crystal clear price tag of $4,500 per bottle. If that exceeds your budget, take a test run with a 2-ounce pour, costing a “mere” $300.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Macallan and Lalique. Among others are the World’s Most Expensive Scotch Whiskey – 64 Year Old the Macallan in Lalique Cire Perdue and the 4th limited edition of the Curiously Small Stills Decanter.
