Few months ago, Madonna photographer Steven Meisel declared that not a single penny from the sale of the $13 million Beverly Hills property would go to his ex-boyfriend, Benjamin Forest who has been living in the house even after they broke up. It was the first time that rumors of the sale of the house started. And, now the home has finally been listed publicly for the price of $12,495,000. Meisel, who bought the house in 2001 for around $2.7 million, said he hopes to close on the sale before the end of the year.
The single-story house, was originally built by famous architect George MacLean in 1963 and was later renovated and expanded under the watch of a L.A. based construction firm, Marmol Radizner. According to the Real Estalker, the 1.550 acre property comes with the 6,350 square foot house and guest house with a total of three bedrooms and six bathrooms, including that over-sized and now-famous master bathroom that incorporates not only onyx-lined bathing facilities but also clearly defined sitting and office areas for early-morning and late-night multi-tasking. The home was featured in the October 2012 issue of the Architectural Digest as well.
The iconic fashion photographer filed a lawsuit against Forest claiming his former lover of 21 years gorged on drugs, had sexual liaisons with a male escort and paid for a Beverly Hills party with his American Express card.
