Luxury Parisian apartment where the film star Brigitte Bardot lived with her husband, a German billionaire and playboy, Ganter Sachs during the sixties, is listed on sale for €6,1 million ($8,25 million). A luxury home , built in 1902 is located on the 16th arrondissement of Paris and boasts everything you would expect from the home of the glamorous model and 1960s icon – white marble, deep red walls, velvet drapes, polished mahogany…and plenty of gold details in which the couple lived in the three-year love.
The pad consists of three bedrooms with bathrooms, spacious lounges, a large billiards room, beautiful indoor gardens and most impressive – glass-roofed disco, inspired by the iconic Chez Regine club in Paris.
The star from the 1956 classic, “And God Created Woman”, had married the German playboy in 1966, and unforgettable romance began betrothal: Saks proposed Bardot by throwing hundreds of red roses from the helicopter on her house on the beach in Saint-Tropez, after which he plunged into the sea, swam to shore and asked for her hand.
However, love didn’t last long, and after numerous affairs on both sides, the couple divorced three years later. It is known that one of Bardot’s lover at the time was the famous Serge Gainsbourg, with whom she recorded the first version of her controversial song ” Je t’aime … moi non plus ” .
