Canadian tailor Garrison Bespoke recently launched its latest range of super stylish suits. This time, his creation is intended to businessmen who find themselves in danger, so it is the first fashion-forward bulletproof suit. The stylish inovation is made with a special military-grade material (the same carbon nanotubes designed for the US troops’ uniforms in Iraq) that is 30 times stronger than steel and 50 per cent lighter than Kevlar (the material commonly used in bullet-proof gear). Although the entire suit acts like a shield, it’s actually very discreet and comfortable.
“After receiving requests from high-profile clients who travel to dangerous places for work, we set out to develop a lightweight, fashion-forward bulletproof suit as a more discreet and stylish alternative to wearing a bulky vest underneath,” said Michael Nguyen, co-owner and bespoke tailor of Garrison Bespoke.
As expected, the suit doesn’t come cheap, prices start at $20,000. But, life has no price.
