After a few months, Mercedes introduced the new S63 AMG, now it’s a turn for even more stronger version, the S65 AMG. This will happen during this month, at the Auto Show in Los Angeles and Tokyo. While the new Mercedes S63 AMG under the hood has a 5.5 liter V8 bi-turbo engine with 585Hp and 900 Nm, the new S65 AMG is powered by 6.0 -liter twin-turbo V12 that develops 463 kW/630Hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission, and acceleration from 0 to 60mph is 4.3 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
The new Mercedes S65 AMG also boasts AMG aero body package, AMG 20-inch wheels (tires 255/40 R20 and 285/35 R20), modified suspension, stronger brakes (optional AMG Carbon Ceramic Brakes), optional red piston calipers, sport exhaust system, all dressed up interior (sports seats, bifurcated AMG sports steering wheel, AMG pedals, stainless steel … ) and a number of systems (ESP Dynamic Cornering Assist MAGIC BODY CONTROL, ATTENTION ASSIST, MAGIC VISION CONTROL, PRE -SAFE ® PLUS, Night View Assist Plus, Head- up display … ). The new S65 AMG will be available only in a version with a longer wheelbase, deliveries start in March next year, and the price is $310,185.
