New resorts and dramatic developments continue to spring up in the Maldives. One of them is Louis Vuitton’s first resort in Maldives, in Noonu Atoll Randheli. Cheval Blanc, the ultra-luxury hospitality brand developed by the LVMH group has opened the luxury resort on November 15. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy,who is the genius mind behind several other luxury properties including St. Regis Lhasa, this newly opened property consists of 46 villas on a lagoon, and four islands in addition, one of which will accommodate the spa.
There are three different villas to choose from, Island, Water or Garden, all designed in neutral colors and tones that complement the open design of the space. Each villa features traditional and contemporary design elements, high doors and ceilings, outdoor areas for relaxation, pool terraces, a 12.5m long private swimming pool and lagoon-side pontoons. The award-winning chef Yannick Alléno is in charge of the kitchen.
Surrounded by the turquoise waters of Noonu Atoll in the Maldives, Cheval Blanc Randheli is destined to be one of the top resorts in the Indian Ocean.
