Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, his handsome lawyer husband Justin Mikita and their non-profit foundation called Tie the Knot, which advocates for “a more stylish and equal America” have announced their new collection of bow ties for winter. This is their fourth collection of bow ties and all proceeds from the sale will be donated to Tie The Knot, for further promotion of marriage equality on behalf of the LGBT community. This season’s guest designers were former NFL player Scott Fujita, NFL player Chris Kluwe and Phoenix Mercury WBNA player Brittney Griner.
To celebrate the new winter collection and one full year of struggling for equality, Tie The Knot, The Tie Bar and Beverly Center have teamed for a Beverly Center pop-up shop that will be open through Jan. 10. The exclusive shop on the seventh floor of the Beverly Center near Macy’s and across from Tiffany’s (in a space formerly occupied by Dodo) will feature every previously sold-out design from the collection’s inception, including all of the past bow ties designed by guest designers, as well as selections of other fashion forward men’s accessories furnished by Tie The Knot’s retail partner, TheTieBar.com.
