He hand selected sour mash whiskey from his favorite over 30 year old barrels, his favorite over 20 year old barrels and some other exceptional barrels, and then blended them together and bottled by hand into what is now known as Michter’s Celebration. To raise exceptionality and exclusivity of the bottle, it features 18 karat gold labeling and comes in an elegant gift box.
