Yellow gold is back in a big way. Based on an idea by Tina Zegg of watch maker and retailer Zegg & Cerlati, Hublot has launched its iconic Big Bang with total Yellow Gold look just in time for Christmas. The official launch of new Yellow Gold Big Bang Limited Edition watch took place on 7th December in the presence of Tina Zegg and Carlo Cerlati in Monaco, for the prestigious “Bal de Noël de Monte-Carlo” (Monte Carlo Christmas Ball).
This real jewel features an 18K gold case, a tone-on-tone mirror-polished dial and a brilliant yellow gold-coloured tone-on-tone calfskin strap. Limited to only 50 pieces, these watches were created exclusively for Zegg & Cerlati boutiques, Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo, Ischgl in Austria and Samnaun in Switzerland, priced at €30,400 ($41,700).
Beside 18K yellow gold version of the case, the watch is also available in 18K red gold or steel. Red gold version is also limited to only 50 pieces, while steel version is limited to 100 watches. All Gold Big Bang Hublot flaunts a 44 mm diameter case. Powered by HUB41100 mechanical automatic chronograph with calendar date. Power reserve is up to 42 Hours. All three versions are water resistant to 100 meters.
