Lamborghini has released the first pictures and technical details of the model Huracan which is a replacement for the outgoing Gallardo. The car has much more modern design than its predecessor which was launched way back in 2003, but it has not disturbed distinctive style of Lamborghini. The front of the Huracan, the newly-shaped headlights, the nose and large air intakes, contributing that the car look more aggressive compared to the Gallardo.
The wheel arches are much more pronounced and modern brake lights, completely changed the design of the bumper and two pairs of exhaust pipes . As expected, the Huracan will receive power from the 5.2 liter V10 engine. Lamborghini has announced that the unit delivers 610Hp ( 448 kW ) at 8250 r / min, while the maximum torque of 560 Nm will be available at 6,500 r / min. The car that weighs 1,422 kg accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 3.2 seconds and to 120mph will take him 9.9 seconds. Engine power will be transferred to all 4 wheels with automatic transmission with double clutch, the driver will have at disposal three modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa.
Huracan will be standard equipped with ceramic brakes. All necessary information the driver will receive through the TFT screen that replaces conventional instrument panel. Start selling and price of Lamborghini Huracan will be known ahead of its official premiere scheduled for March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.
