New England Patriots star Drew Bledsoe has decided to sell his Oregon home for just $10 million. Although not clear why anyone would sell such a house, in fact it is not surprising knowing that the retired NFL quarterback deals with anything and everything. He started a number of businesses, including his own winery, a private investment firm, a specialty coffee roasting company and a foundation in his name, so maybe the real estate is his next business.
However, Bledsoe’s massive, 14,821-square-foot mansion sits on 10,29 acres in a gated community and features seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms on four floors, all designed by architect Janet Jarvis. A single family, multi-winged home also features a pastoral décor with lofted beam ceilings, stone fireplaces and other luxury finishes.
Other magnificent amenities include stone fireplaces, a temperature-controlled wine room, a pool, a putting green, a basketball court with retractable backboards and a pair of hot tubs and water features while enjoying expansive views of the Cascade Mountains.
Bledsoe purchased the place for about $750,000 back in 2004. That was probably the price of the land, because the residence is worth a lot more.
