Monsieur is innovative intelligent robotic bartender that serves the perfect drink at the perfect time. At first glance it looks like dark wooden box, but Monsieur is your best friend who will prepair your favorite drink after tiring day at work. You just have to push the button, and it will make a cocktail that involves pouring, measuring, blending, and mixing. You can choose from app 300 coctails. The robot bartender has 12 unique profiles, 25 cocktails in each profile and can make 150 drinks before needing a refill. Once you choose a theme, you are given a list of ingredients you will need to load your machine with according to what’s needed for the cocktails in the profile. You can use a smartphone app to order a drink remotely, while the robot can order its own supplies via email. Its one more intelligent features is that it will ask you how strong you’d like your cocktail and you can opt for “lightweight,” “normal” or “boss”.
But maybe the most interesting is that it can actually learns the user’s tastes and lifestyle and suggests drinks accordingly. For example if you come home from work every day at 5 p.m., and the Monsieur, using a Wi-Fi connection at your home, detects when you come home and monitors the pattern. But, if one day you come home at 9:30 p.m, Monsieur will offer you a double drink instead of a single because you had a long day at work. Pretty impressive!!!
The robot is the brainchild of a company, also called Monsieur, in Atlanta, Georgia, which is trying to raise $100,000 on crowd-funding website Kickstarter to put the product, which is designed for the home, into production.
A four-pump unit starts at $1,499, while an eight-pump model starts at $2,699. A larger 16-pump version with custom finishes is being designed for bars and restaurants with prices as high as $5,000. Not cheap, but worth of money.
